Participants in the Food Service Work Option will work directly in the kitchen in a hands-on environment. During food service, participants will be responsible for preparing the daily lunch and sweets, along with learning a variety of topics including:
• Preparation of daily lunch and desserts
• The importance of food safety
• Knife skills
• Using standardized recipes
• Cooking methods
• Nutrition
