With three locations in HRM, Metroworks Employment Services provide job search assistance, training direction and support to clients, who are unemployed, underemployed, seeking employment or changing careers.

SERVICES OFFERED:
Job Search Services - Assistance in: using the computer, resume critiquing and development, creating cover letters, interview presentation skills, creating e-mail address, providing information on community organizations and agencies, etc.

Employment Counseling - Assistance with: job search techniques, developing an action plan to help clients reach their education or employment goals. In addition, assistance with Target Wage Subsidies (TWS), Job Creation Partnerships (JCP), Skills Development Applications (SDA) and Employment Development Placements (EDP) are also offered.

Job Development Services - Works with clients and the business community to assist job ready clients attain their employment goals.

Workshops offered each month - Skills identification, resume writing, cover letters, interview skills, basic computer skills, introduction to MS Word, job searching on the internet and PLAR.*** (workshops may vary in accordance with our monthly workshop calender)***

Additional Services - Access to computers with High Speed Internet and word processing capabilities, photocopying, faxing, e-mail services, access to telephone and typing services.

As an organization, Metroworks is dedicated to the growth and expansion of the menu of services offered by the employment centres - to assist those in the community with barriers to employment.
